Board of Directors

Centra Cam Vocational Training Association is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The board members are elected each September by members of the Association.

Membership to the Association is available for $10.00 per year. The membership year is from October 1st to September 30th.

In September 2005, Dave Chamberlain received a certificate of recognition from the Persons with Developmental Disabilities Central Alberta community Board. Dave has served on the Centra Cam Board of Directors for 14 years, the last six of which have been as president. Dave has been a great promoter of this association over the years. He has recruited many board members and is a strong advocate for individuals with a disability. When Centra Cam’s Emergency Clothing and Furniture Depot needed to be built, Dave initiated the fundraising, recruited help and was known to have worked many hours, rain or shine or snow.

Kevin Gurr was recently honored, September 2005, with a certificate of achievement from Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) Central Alberta Community Board for his commitment in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Kevin, is owner and operator of Boston Pizza, which currently employs three individuals with disabilities. He has been involved with Centra Cam for over 15 years. Kevin has also been a member of the volunteer Board of Directors of Centra Cam for the last seven years.
