Emergency Clothing & Furniture Depot

About ECFD

The Emergency Clothing and Furniture Depot (ECFD)

is a non-funded division of Centra Cam Vocational

Training Association (CCVTA).   In addition to being a

major training centre for the clients that attend

programs at CCVTA, ECFD provides clothing,

furniture, housewares, toys and home décor items

to residents of Camrose and area.  ECFD is able to

provide this service to people in need because of the

generous donations from the community.

There is a variety of reasons why people access ECFD;  among them are, women and children fleeing family violence,  loss of employment, need to obtain clothing for employment or potential employment, house fires, homelessness, family break-down, immigration and extreme poverty.  When Fort McMurray was evacuated, ECFD was able to provide clothing and personal care items to many of the evacuees that came to Camrose.

ECFD is now OPEN to the Public.   Tuesday-Saturday 9:30am to 3:30pm

A referral is no longer necessary to access our facility.   Those is

need may still access the NEW referral forms.  Please contact ECFD with

any questions.

The Emergency Clothing and Furniture Depot hosts Coats for Camrose the third Wednesday and Thursday in October.  We have been very fortunate that Duggan Mall has donated the space for the past several years. ECFD stores all winter wear throughout the summer and transports it to the proper location in the fall where it will be hung up and made available to the public. Coats for Camrose is open to the public and referrals are NOT required.
