IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SERVICES

Contact the Community Supports Coordinator with Alberta Disability Services at 780-679-5058, to determine the types of supports you are needing.

Upon receiving your Alberta Disabilities Services application, Centra Cam’s Program Manager will contact you, to set up an intake meeting. During this meeting you will take a tour of Centra Cam’s facility and complete the Centra Cam application package.

The Program Manager will process your application, in conjunction, with the Alberta Disability Services resource team. She will also work with you to set up an appropriate start date and schedule.

Client hours are based on the number of hours Alberta Disability Services determines are available for each individual. They are also based on client interests, programming needs, and availability of funding and staffing

This program track exists to offer the “clients” a holistic approach to development and maintenance of their skills and ability which they require to achieve, develop and maintain employment.
Employment Services

The Workability Department offers supports to assist individuals achieve both their Personal and Career goals through:
Personal Development

Basic computer skills and internet safety

Academic skill training or maintenance

Healthy living skill building: nutrition education, physical activity

Life Skills Training: food preparation training, food safety training, janitorial work, money skills, safety training, learner’s permit

Client development sessions: healthy relationships, train safety, public speaking, etc.

Workability Theme Activities: time management, communication, honesty, Dress for Success, Internet Safety, etc.

Pre-Employment Training and Resume Building activities: volunteer work, fundraisers community involvement and small group training

Community Access
Community Access offers opportunities for individuals to be active community members through volunteering and accessing events and facilities in the City of Camrose. We encourage individuals to become active in our community through:

Physical activities—walking the trails/parks, swimming, biking, exercise classes

Social activities—games, dances, community events, volunteering
​​

Personal development—art classes, musical activities, use of technology, sensory activities, cooking, tours, etc.
